GAD65 (206-220) is a synthetic peptide derived from glutamic acid decarboxylase (GAD) 65, specifically corresponding to residues 180-188. It is known that GAD65 interacts with I-Ag7 MHC class II molecules and is a significant pancreatic antigen that self-reactive T cells target in type I diabetes mellitus.
OVA Peptide (257-264) TFA, an octameric peptide epitope from ovalbumin, is presented by the class I MHC molecule, H-2Kb, showcasing a class I (Kb)-restricted profile.
Cholic acid 7-sulfate is a metabolite of the primary bile acid cholic acid.[1],[2] It is produced by conjugation of a sulfate group with the hydroxy group at position 7 of cholic acid in the liver and gut. Fecal levels of cholic acid 7-sulfate are increased in male, but not female, mice fed a diet supplemented with cholic acid or chenodeoxycholic acid.[2]
KSPWFTTL is an immunodominant epitope derived from the p15E transmembrane protein. It is Kb-restricted and can enhance the susceptibility of a tumor cell line to cytotoxic T lymphocytes targeting anti-AKR/Gross MuLV.
MOG (35-55), human, a constituent of central nervous system myelin, is distinguishable from mMOG (35-55) due to a proline-to-serine substitution at position 42. It possesses immunogenic properties and is partially cross-reactive with mMOG35–55. However, MOG (35-55), human does not induce encephalitogenic effects, and only elicits minimal clinical signs of EAE (experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis) in comparison to the rodent peptide.
