嗜乳脂蛋白 (Butyrophilins) 是属于免疫球蛋白超家族的膜蛋白。嗜丁菌素(Btn)基因构成了在人类、小鼠、牛、山羊和其他物种中鉴定的 Ig 超家族中至少 10 个基因的亚群。同名的 Btn 基因(人类中的 BTN1A1;小鼠中的 Btn1a1)在哺乳期乳腺分泌上皮中高度表达。其他同系物主要在骨骼肌、肠细胞和红系细胞中表达。相比之下,BTN2A1 和 2 以及 BTN3A1、2 和 3 在许多组织中广泛表达,这表明 Btn 蛋白的结构域可能同时具有通用和组织特异性功能。
