铁死亡(ferroptosis)是近年来发现的一种由铁依赖的氧化损伤引起的细胞死亡模式,与凋亡、坏死、自噬不同,铁死亡的特征主要是细胞体积缩小和线粒体膜密度增加,没有典型的细胞凋亡和坏死表现。ferroptosis 与神经系统疾病、肿瘤(特别是乳腺癌、弥漫性大 B 细胞淋巴瘤)、缺血再灌注损伤、肾损伤、动脉粥样硬化、糖尿病、心脏病等疾病有关,进一步深入研究铁死亡的作用机理,研究其在不同疾病类型中的作用,对寻找相关疾病的治疗靶点、靶向药物的研发具有重要意义。
