Fosnetupitant is a methylene phosphate prodrug of Netupitant. It has a pKi of 9.5 for the human NK1 receptor.
体外活性

Fosnetupitant shows a micromolar affinity for the 5-HT6 (pKi ～ 5.2) receptor and type L Ca2+ channels (pKi ～ 5.7). However, it does not bind all the other proteins investigated.

体内活性

After i.v. injection in rats, Pronetupitant is rapidly and extensively converted to Netupitant.
