产品描述	Cefoxitin (Rephoxitin) is a broad-spectrum, orally available second-generation cephalosporins antibiotic. Cefoxitin interferes with the synthesis of bacterial cell walls. Its activity profile includes Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, and is commonly used in abdominal cavity infections, pelvic infections, and certain types of gynecological infections, and is highly effective against anaerobic bacteria.
靶点活性	PBP5:0.19 μg/mL, PBP2a:0.72 μg/mL, PBP3:1.04 μg/mL, PBP4:0.14 μg/mL, PBP2b:0.19 μg/mL
体外活性	Cefoxitin对革兰氏阳性菌具有良好的抑制作用，多种革兰氏阳性病原菌的最小抑菌浓度(MICs)范围为1-6 μg/mL[1]。在1.25 µM/mL的浓度下，Cefoxitin对B. burgdorferi展示出高效的杀菌效力[2]。
体内活性	给予C3H/HeN小鼠模型每天通过腹腔注射方式连续5天使用20 mg/kg剂量的Cefoxitin，有效根除了B. burgdorferi。[2]
