ETS1 Protein (ETS1) is a nuclear protein that belongs to the ETS family. Members of this family recognize the core consensus DNA sequence GGAA T in target genes. Proteins function either as transcriptional activators or repressors of numerous genes. They are involved in stem cell development, cell senescence and death, and tumorigenesis. ETS1 is a transcription factor, containing one ETS DNA-binding domain and one PNT (pointed) domain. it has been shown to interact with TTRAP, UBE2I and Death Associated Protein 6.

Neuropilin-1 (Npn-1, previously neuropilin; also CD304) is a 130 - 140 kDa type I transmembrane (TM) glycoprotein that regulates axon guidance and angiogenesis. Two homologues, Neuropilin-1 and Neuropilin-2, are identified. Neuropilin-1 binds to semaphorin 3A, The PLGF-2 isoform of PGF, The VEGF-165 isoform of VEGF and VEGF-B. Coexpression with KDR results in increased VEGF-165 binding to KDR as well as increased chemotaxis. It may regulate VEGF-induced angiogenesis. The soluble isoform 2 binds VEGF-165 and appears to inhibit its binding to cells. NRP1 expression is regulated in EC by tumor necrosis factor-alpha, the transcription factors dHAND and Ets-1, and vascular injury. NRP1 upregulation is positively correlated with the progression of various tumors.

E twenty-six (ETS)-like transcription factor 1, also known as Elk1 or Member of ETS oncogene family (ELK1), is a member of the ETS oncogene superfamily which is characterized by a common protein domain that regulates DNA binding to target sequences. Elk1 is expressed in the nuclei of non-neuronal cells and function as a transcription activator. It plays important roles in various contexts, including long-term memory formation, drug addiction, Alzheimer's disease, Down syndrome, breast cancer, and depression.
