T细胞活化的标志物包括CD69、CD71和CD25(也是Treg细胞的标志物),以及HLA-DR(人类T细胞活化的标志物)。CTLA-4在活化的T细胞上的表达也上调,这反过来又在与B7蛋白的结合方面胜过CD28。这是一种防止T细胞过度激活的检查点机制。
在树突状细胞中,最重要的激活CD标志物是CD80、CD86和CD83。CD40已经在大多数未成熟的树突状细胞中表达,尽管它们的表达强度在激活后强烈增加。
