Orexin Receptor Antagonist 6 (Compound 72) is a selective antagonist of the orexin 1 receptor (OX1), with a Ke value of 8.5 nM and over 1180-fold selectivity over OX2. This compound does not trigger conditioned place preference (CPP) or aversion effects and is capable of inhibiting the formation of cocaine-induced CPP. It is applicable in the research of neurological disorders.
