Flurbiprofen (dl-Flurbiprofen) is an anti-inflammatory analgesic and antipyretic of the phenylalkynoic acid series. It has been shown to reduce bone resorption in periodontal disease by inhibiting CARBONIC ANHYDRASE.
体外活性

Flurbiprofen 明显地以剂量依赖性抑制多种肿瘤细胞的生长。Flurbiprofen 在源自髓母细胞瘤和多形性胶质母细胞瘤的肿瘤细胞系中引起细胞周期进程的显著变化。Flurbiprofen 降低G1和G2期的细胞数量，促进S期细胞增殖。Flurbiprofen 加速G1/S过渡，延迟细胞从S期到G2/M期的进程。Flurbiprofen对不同cyclins的RNA水平影响较小，但在flurbiprofen处理后cyclin B蛋白水平显著下降。[1]

体内活性

Flurbiprofen具有有神经保护活性，可减少缺血性损伤，减小脑梗塞体积和神经行为缺陷。Flurbiprofen明显降低大鼠缺血脑区早期依赖钙的硝酸盐和MDA水平上升。同时，Flurbiprofen减少因钙依赖性蛋白酶calpain缺血激活而产生的蛋白水解产物(SBDPs)。[2] Flurbiprofen (5 mg/kg 和 10 mg/kg) 显著减轻大鼠脑缺血/再灌注损伤。Flurbiprofen不仅抑制Bax蛋白和p-GSK-3β的表达，还增加了Bcl-2蛋白表达、Bcl-2/Bax比率以及大鼠P-Akt水平。[3]
