Human Type III collagen, derived from human placenta (immunization grade), is a highly purified compound capable of eliciting an immune response in animals to produce specific antibodies against this collagen protein. Additionally, this collagen serves as a substrate for the hydrolysis by matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs).
