Blasticidin S HCl is a natural product and an inhibitor of protein synthesis. Blasticidin S HCl is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that can inhibit the cell growth of prokaryotes, fungi, plants and mammalian cells.
靶点活性
A. baumannii:104 ± 25 μg/mL, E. faecalis:26.3 ± 13 μg/mL, S. aureus:33.2 ± 0.8 μg/mL, VRE:58.0 ± 9.4 μg/mL, K. pneumoniae:42.3 ± 3.5 μg/mL, P.aeruginosa:61.0 ± 6.0 μg/mL, MRSA:59.7 ± 7.8 μg/mL
体外活性

方法：酵母细胞Schizosaccharomyces pombe用Blasticidin S HCl（0.1-60 μg/mL）处理18 h，测量吸光度检测细胞生长抑制情况。
结果：Blasticidin S HCl抑制Schizosaccharomyces pombe细胞的生长。[1]
