5-Bromo-2'-deoxy-2'-fluoro-beta-D-arabinouridine is a purine nucleoside analog. 5-Bromo-2'-deoxy-2'-fluoro-beta-D-arabinouridine exhibits broad antitumor activity against indolent lymphoid malignancies, and its mechanisms in cancer-related research involve inhibition of DNA synthesis and induction of apoptosis, and is utilized in studies of nucleoside analog–mediated cellular stress responses and proliferative inhibition pathways.
