产品描述	Isocitric acid (Isocitrate), an isomer of citric acid, is a substrate for citric acid cycle and an endogenous metabolite, which has potential for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease, Fe-deficiency anemia, and metabolic myopathies associated with a shortage of succinate dehydrogenase and aconitate hydratase, as well as the mutation of the gene of NADP-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1).
体内活性	研究者以大鼠为实验对象，使用high-purity monopotassium salt of Isocitric acid （纯度99.9%）处理经铅和钼盐诱导神经中毒的大鼠，连续处理14天，结果表明该化合物可明显缓解神经中毒症状，改善大鼠的学习与记忆能力。[1]
