AuristatinE-d8 is the deuterated form of AuristatinE. AuristatinE is a cytotoxic microtubule polymerization inhibitor with selective anti-tumor activity. It serves as the cytotoxin in antibody-drug conjugates (ADC). By blocking microtubule polymerization, AuristatinE inhibits cell division and holds potential for research in B-cell malignancies. It is a synthetic analog of Dolastatin 10, composed of a linear peptide with four amino acids.
