Apidaecin IB is an insect antimicrobial peptide with Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) values of 64 μM, 4-8 μM, and 8-16 μM against S. pneumoniae 22, S. typhimurium ATCC 14028, and Enterococcus faecalis (D5, PD1), respectively.
