Antibiotic-5d shows moderate antibacterial activity in vitro against various Gram-negative (Escherichia coli, Proteus vulgaris, etc.) bacteria, and Gram-positive (Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus cereus, etc.) fungi (Candida albicans), and yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisae, etc.).
