Antibacterial agent 98 (compound g37) is an effective oral antibacterial agent, which can inhibit the ATPase activity of Gyrase B and weaken the DNA super-helix of S. aureus. Antibacterial agent 98 does not induce the development of MRSA (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) resistance.
体外活性

Antibacterial agent 98 (compound g37) shows antibacterial activity with an NICs of 0.1 μg/mL for S. aureus ATCC29213 and an IC 50 of 0.15 μM for GyrB [1]. Antibacterial agent 98 shows cytotoxicity with IC 50 s of 55.3, 38.8 μM for HepG2, HUVEC cells, respectively [1].
