This product specifically binds to the extracellular domain of CTLA-4, blocking its interaction with ligands CD80 (B7-1) and CD86 (B7-2). This blockade removes the negative regulatory signal of CTLA-4 on T-cell activation, thereby enhancing T-cell proliferation, cytokine production, and anti-tumor immune responses.
