AMP-PNP lithium hydrate 是一种不发生水解的 ATP 类似物。AMP-PNP 可替代 ATP 应用于生物研究，且不会被细胞内酶分解。在研究维生素 B12 转运体 BtuCD-F 的过程中，发现 AMP-PNP 能堵塞 BtuCD-F 复合物中两个 BtuCD 形成的通道，从而阻止维生素 B12 的进入。
