amibegron

Amibegron is a selective agonist for the β3 adrenergic receptor. It is the first orally active β3 agonist developed that is capable of entering the central nervous system. Amibegron has antidepressant and anxiolytic effects.

Amibegron hydrochloride is a selective β3-adrenoceptor agonist (EC50: 3.5 nM for β-adrenoceptor in rat colon). It has anxiolytic and antidepressant activity.
