Sebacic acid dimethyl ester (Standard) is the standard substance of Sebacic acid dimethyl ester, and it is applicable for quantitative analysis, quality control, and related research in biochemical experiments. Dimethyl sebacate was used in the biosynthesis of oligomeric sebacates, lubricant oils. Dimethyl sebacate was a convenient starting material for cyclization of N-Succinylglycine dimethyl ester.
