Phosphoglucomutase, Chicken (EC 5.4.2.2) is an enzyme that facilitates the transfer of a phosphate group on the α-D-glucose monomer from the 1' position to the 6' position, or vice versa, from the 6' position to the 1' position. It enables the interconversion between glucose-1-phosphate and glucose-6-phosphate.
