L-Pyroglutamic acid-13C5 is the deuterium-labeled version of L-Pyroglutamic acid. This compound is the levorotatory isomer of Pyroglutamic acid, which acts as the biologically active enantiomer within the human body. Additionally, Pyroglutamic acid serves as an intermediate in the metabolism of glutathione.
