研究背景Risankizumab is a monoclonal antibody designed to target interleukin-23 (IL-23), a key cytokine involved in the inflammatory process of certain autoimmune diseases. By specifically binding to the p19 subunit of IL-23, Risankizumab inhibits its interaction with the IL-23 receptor, thereby reducing inflammation and immune responses. This mechanism makes Risankizumab particularly effective in the treatment of moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. The drug is marketed under the brand name Skyrizi and has shown superior efficacy compared to other biologics in its class. It is also being studied for potential use in other inflammatory conditions, such as Crohn's disease.
