Ten human homologs of TLRs (TLR1-10) have been described. TIRAP (TIR domain-containing adaptor protein) is an adaptor protein used by TLR4. Blocking TIRAP inhibits TLR4-mediated signaling events, including DC maturation and cytokine production. |
