Alextatug is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting cytoplasmic polyadenylate-binding protein 1 (PABPC1). PABPC1 is a critical regulator of mRNA stability and translation initiation, often overexpressed in various malignancies. Alextatug specifically binds to PABPC1, disrupting its interaction with mRNA and translation initiation complexes. This action modulates Cell Cycle/Checkpoint-related pathways and DNA/RNA Synthesis processes to inhibit tumor cell proliferation and metastasis. Featuring a Human IgG1 heavy chain and λ7 light chain, this antibody serves as a tool for researching post-transcriptional gene regulation.
