CV-1808 is a coronary vasodilator, antihypertensive, and antipsychotic following systemic administration in vivo. CV-1808 is an adenosine A2 receptor agonist.
4′-Hydroxy-2′-methylacetophenone, an aroma compound of red wines, is isolated from cv. Bobal grape variety. 4′-Hydroxy-2′-methylacetophenone has ciliate toxicity. 4′-Hydroxy-2′-methylacetophenone inhibits the growth of T. pyriformis, with an IC50 of 0.65 mM[1][2]. [1]. Desmethyl bosentan is an active metabolite of the endothelin receptor antagonist bosentan .1Desmethyl bosentan (25 μM) activates the pregnane X receptor (PXR) in CV-1 monkey kidney cells expressing the human receptor in a reporter assay. 1.van Giersbergen, P.L.M., Gnerre, C., Treiber, A., et al.Bosentan, a dual endothelin receptor antagonist, activates the pregnane X nuclear receptorBr. d2T, a nucleoside analog of thymidine, exhibits antiviral activity by inhibiting HIV replication in infected human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs; EC50 = 0.17 µM). Additionally, 3′-deoxy Thymidine at concentrations of 1, 3, 10, or 30 µM significantly decreases viral plaque formation in CV-1 cells infected with herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV-1).
