Ponsegromab has anti-cachexic activity by binding to GDF15 to prevent its binding to GFRAL, thus disrupting GDF15/GFRAL mediated signaling. Ponsegromab has potential anticancer activity and can be used to treat cancer patients with cancer anorexia cachexia syndrome.
