α-HNJNAc (10, 100μM) has no effect on GM00737 and GM01426 cell lines, but has some effect on GM02931 cell line with a significant 1.8 fold activity increase. a-HNJNAc (100μM; 3 days) has no toxicity on human HL60 cell proliferation [1]. NAGLU is inhibited more efficiently by a-HNJNAc (67 μM) than by the uncorrectly configured b-HNJNAc (374 μM) [1].
