产品描述	Berberine chloride hydrate (Natural Yellow 18 chloride hydrate) is an alkaloid commonly used as an antibiotic.Berberine chloride hydrate has antitumor activity, induces the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), and inhibits DNA topoisomerase.
体外活性	Berberine chloride hydrate ( Natural Yellow 18 chloride hydrate) (1.25-160 μM; 72h) exhibits the potential to inhibit the proliferation of four colorectal carcinoma cell lines, namely LoVo, HCT116, SW480, and HT-29.[1]. Berberine chloride hydrate (1.25-160 μM; 24-72h) induces a time- and dose-dependent inhibition of LoVo cell growth.[1] Berberine chloride hydrate (10-80 μM) treatment for 24 hours of LoVo cells resulted in cell cycle analysis using flow cytometry, revealing an accumulation of cells in the G2/M phase.[1] Berberine chloride hydrate (10-80 μM; 24h) at the dose of 80.0 μM, significantly downregulates the protein expression of cyclin B1, cdc2, and cdc25c after 24 hours.[1]
体内活性	Berberine chloride hydrate (Natural Yellow 18 chloride hydrate) (10, 30, or 50 mg/kg/day; gastrointestinal gavage; for 10 days; 5-week-old BALB/c nu/nu mice with human colorectal adenocarcinoma LoVo xenografts) inhibits the growth of human colorectal adenocarcinoma in vivo. It shows inhibitory rates of 33.1% and 45.3% on the human colorectal adenocarcinoma xenograft growth in nude mice with 30 and 50 mg/kg/day taken by gastrointestinal gavage shows.[1]
