Antitumor agent-38 is a highly effective antitumor compound that exhibits antiproliferative activity towards cancer cells. It induces cell cycle arrest specifically at the late S and G2/M phase, while not impeding microtubule formation or altering cell morphology [1].
体外活性

Antitumor agent-38 (compound 9h) shows antiproliferative activity with GI 50 s of 0.66, 0.85, 0.76, 4.12, 3.67 μM for A549, MDA-MB-231, KB, KB-VIN, MCF-7 cells, respectively [1]. Antitumor agent-38 (0.58, 1.74 μM; 24 h) induces cell cycle arrest at the late S and G2/M phase [1]. Cell Cycle Analysis [1] Cell Line: MDA-MB-231 cells Concentration: 0.85, 1.74 μM Incubation Time: 24 h Result: Cells were arrested at the late S and G2/M phase.
