构建方式This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, a synthetic Myc tag peptide conjugated to KLH. The IgG fraction of the cell culture supernatant was purified by Protein A affinity chromatography and conjugated with horseradish-peroxidase (HRP).

研究背景The Myc tag is a popular protein tag derived from c-myc gene product with a molecular weight of 1.2 KDa. The amino acid sequence is EQKLISEEDL, corresponding to the C-terminal amino acids (410-419) of human c-myc protein. Anti-Myc Tag antibodies can facilitate the detection, separation and purification of Myc tag target proteins without protein-specific antibodies or probes in several immunochemical assays such as Western Blotting, ELISAs and immunostaining techniques.
