产品描述 | Ethidium bromide (EB) A trypanocidal agent and possible antiviral agent that is widely used in experimental cell biology and biochemistry. Ethidium has several experimentally useful properties including binding to nucleic acids, noncompetitive inhibition of nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, and fluorescence among others. It is most commonly used as the bromide. Ethidium bromide has a λEx of 300-360 nm and a λEm of 590 nm. |
体外活性 | 使用方法 一、溶液配置:根据需要分离的带的大小配置合适浓度的琼脂糖凝胶(常用 0.5%至2.5%)。 二、操作步骤 1. 精确称取一定量的琼脂糖粉与一定量的 1X TAE/TBE 混合。 2. 用微波炉加热 1-3 分钟,直至琼脂糖完全溶解。 3. 融化后的琼脂溶液摇晃混匀,倒入电泳槽中,等其凝固; 4. 加入 Ethidium bromide (EtBr) 至最终浓度约为 0.2-0.5 μg/mL(原液通常为 10 mg/mL,需要 5 μL 原液/100 mL 凝胶); 5. Ethidium bromide 与 DNA 结合,在紫外线(UV)光下即可显现 DNA。 |
