CBP-93872 is a G2 checkpoint inhibitor. CBP-93872 specifically abrogates the DNA double-stranded break (DSB)-induced G2 checkpoint through inhibiting maintenance. CBP-93872 is an inhibitor of maintenance of the DSB-specific G2 checkpoint and thus might be a strong candidate as the basis for a drug that specifically sensitizes p53-mutated cancer cells to DSB-inducing DNA damage therapy.
Teloxantrone is an anthrapyrazole antineoplastic antibiotic. Teloxantrone intercalates into DNA and interacts with topoisomerase II, thereby inhibiting DNA replication and repair, as well as RNA and protein synthesis.
BMS-824 is a potent NS5A inhibitor. The 50% inhibition of HCV replicon replication for BMS-824 was approximately 5 nM, with a therapeutic index of >10,000. BMS-824 showed good specificity for HCV, as it was not active against several other RNA and DNA viruses.
5-Hydroxy Lansoprazole Sulfide is an inhibitor of fatty acid synthase (FASN). FASN, which is responsible for de-novo synthesis of lipids, has been found to be overexpressed in cancerous tissue. 5-Hydroxy Lansoprazole Sulfide specifically inhibits enoyl reductase, and was found to more effectively inhibit FASN function than lansoprazole and was also more efficient at regulating NHEJ repair of oxidative DNA damage via PARP1.
