Bovine | P. pastoris (Yeast) |
Enterokinase is a member of the trypsin family of serine proteases. The precursor protein is cleaved into two chains which then forms a heterodimer linked by a disulfide bond. The heavy chain anchors enterokinase in the intestinal brush border membrane and the light chain is the catalytic subunit, which initiates conversion activation of a subset of pancreatic proteolytic proenzymes. Enterokinase is the physiological activator of trypsinogen and has a specificity for the sequence (Asp)4-Lys-Ile....

Enteropeptidase Protein, Mouse, Recombinant (His & Myc)
Serine protease 7,Prss7,Transmembrane protease serine 15,Ent... |
Mouse | HEK293 Cells |
Responsible for initiating activation of pancreatic proteolytic proenzymes (trypsin, chymotrypsin and carboxypeptidase A). It catalyzes the conversion of trypsinogen to trypsin which in turn activates other proenzymes including chymotrypsinogen, procarboxypeptidases, and proelastases.

Enteropeptidase Protein, Mouse, Recombinant (His & SUMO)
Tmprss15,Entk,Enterokinase,Serine protease 7,Prss7,... |
Mouse | E. coli |
Enteropeptidase Protein, Mouse, Recombinant (His & SUMO) is expressed in E. coli expression system with N-6xHis-SUMO tag. The predicted molecular weight is 43.0 kDa and the accession number is P97435. |
