多肽是介于大分子蛋白质和小分子药物之间的具有调节细胞生物功能的化合物。由于其主要来源于天然多肽或者天然多肽类似物，通常情况下，其结构清楚、作用机制明确。研究表明多肽具有靶点亲和力高、疗效稳定、免疫原性低、毒副作用小、特异性强等优点。
